spaghetti hair jenga marshmallow grimace
I found this one idly looking through Flickr. It’s a masterpiece of candid “what on earth?” Spaghetti? Hair? Marshmallow? Skewer? Grimace?
Apparently, the marshmallow had just been pulled from the fire, hence the expression. The angel-hair pasta in the hair was from an initial attempt to use it as the skewer for the marshmallow. The subject’s name is Amelia.
The lesson here is: a good SLR (a Canon EOS 40D in this case) is just the thing for a house party, because the great big light bucket on the front means candid brilliance galore without flashes annoying people. Art is where you find it, but being well-prepared and setting out a good net increases your chances tremendously.
Jenga is the game where you remove blocks from a stack trying not to make it fall over.
